I am very cognizant of what Christmas is all about and its meaning. The fact that I am taking the time to do some of my decorating now does not diminish the wonder and joy of Christ's birth for me and it is very judgemental and presumptuous of you to even make that call! Maybe you should decorate your home for Christmas with judges robes and a white wig...

Lest we forget: Christmas is the celebration of the human birth of Jesus Christ - the Maker and Savior of our world... A birthday party with balloons, ribbon streamers, hats, games, and presents (of course!) along with a birthday cake with 2006 candles would be fun...! Of course, you could get number candles for the number of years rather than investing in 2006 individual candles (and possibly breaking the fire codes), but THAT is up to you...! On a related note, I'd wait til December 24th to inflate the balloons, though... Hope you have a GREAT time...!

I'd wait until Friday. I'm doing some of my decorating then while all the brave ones will be at the mall.
