Is this a union job? Were you hired at the scale wage you say you should be getting? If it's union, there should be ways to file a grievance. Talk to your union leader where you work, or at the union headquarters. If it's not union and you have it in writing the wage you're supposed to be getting, call your states wage and hour board, or labor law division to get some advice on what you can do. Even if it the agreed wage wasn't in writing, you may still be able to file a claim for wages owed to you. If none of these circumstances apply, and you knew the wage you'd be getting going into the job, then maybe you just need to get more hours under your belt before the higher scale kicks in. Good luck, hope you're able to resolve this. Companies who underpay their employees should be subject to fines of some kind, IMHO.

experience and hard work is the only way Just because you sat in a class room does not mean you know more or even as much as person that has been on the job for 20 years

Geez... for someone who is supposedly educated, you don't sound very smart! You can't even word a question properly....

FWIW, you have to be in management to get paid better. An "ordinary worker" never gets paid very much. That's just the way the world works.
