Why am I late?

I have really never been late (I am 4 days late) I am sexually active but have taken a pregnancy test just now and it said neg. could I still be pregnant? I have not been under stress or anything like that but, I have been having some cramping. any sudgestions?

relax ; people who never were late sometimes get late all of sudden; no big deal; by 4 days late most pregnancy tests should pick up ; give it a week total if not then , call your doctor; take a blood test to put your mind at ease; stress can delay it even more; relax and nature will take its course either way. As for sexually active, if you don't want to get pregnant and/or catch something, protect yourself and health; that is the only way until you want a baby eliminate these surprises by taking care of yourself and use protection.

Yes, you could still be pregnant. It's more likely that the pregnancy test will not detect the hormone then it will falsely detect it. Take another test in like a day. If you still don't start in another day and the test comes up negative I would call your doctor and see what they want to do.

Wait a few more days and take another test if you don't get your period. If the test still shows up negative, and you still have not gotten your period, call the doctor. The cramping sounds like your going to get it soon.

could be other things go to the doctor they will do a blood test to determine if you are pregnant and if you are not then they will do a pap you may have abnormal cells. very common in sexually active women don't be scared. I wish you luck

go see your doc and have them do a test cuz those tests you get from the drug store can be wrong... i took one too and i ended up being preg.... and my aunt took 3 and she had my cousin so i would go see your doc and go from there... good luck!!!
