Possibly, as we get older, we can see the bigger picture and empathise a whole lot more ... hence more to get emotional about. When we are younger, things are more black and white and depths of feeling simply are not there due to lack of life experience.
Also, as we go through life, I think we gain more ability to make choices about how we see things ..... and this can lead to reacting more than we might have a few years back.

It all depends what kind of person you are and what mood you are in at that time, im 39 and i am not as emotional as i was a few years ago but if im in the right frame of mind i can think of something that happened years ago and cry my heart and soul out. everyone is different , it dont matter for us to have a good cry now and again about anything and it gets rid of all the old cob webs.

i would just think that as you've got older and your life is comfortable you can sit back and look at life and you are obviously a caring person and feel for what other people are going through. dont get yourself down with this but it is a nice quality to have. it is just your emotion coming out. i get emotional over alot of different things and im only 25. it aint always age and it aint a bad thing stop worrying.xx

It depends on what life has thrown at you! I used to take all the ups with the Downs and was known as a tough cookie who coped with all the pressure!
But something happened to me in June, that I thought would never happen. now I find myself in situations that I have been in so many times and got over it in the past but not now! I think it goes back to the incident in June!
Something that hurts and does damage, more than anything affect others things and you relate to that!

Nope...only before the wrong time of the month. Doesn't sound good to me. Being emotional and crying are very draining. At least they are for me. I think you should take further steps to eliminate this upheaval from your life.
