my husband wants to know how much oil do you mix with gasoline in a snowblower when it says 50:1

6-1/4 gallon of gas, with 1/8 of a gallon of oil. Hope this helps.

50 to 1 mix is 2 1/2 oz. oil to 1 gal gas. be sure to purchase two cycle oil.

50:1 ratio is indeed 2.6 ounces of oil, per one gallon of gas......
Be sure to get a oil (read on the back) that comes pre mixed with a fuel stabilizer!!!!

Briggs & Stratton and Tecumseh are two of the largest manufacturers of small four cycle engines and both are common on snowblowers, lawn mowers, etc.

They sell small bottles on two-stroke oil @ Lowes. It take on of these bottles for every gallon of gas. Better yet move somewhere warmer where you don't need a snow-blower.

just like you do in a weed eater.that will be 1 of those little 2 cycle bottles to 1 gal. of gas.

2.5oz oil to gallon of gas. you get this by dividing 128oz in a gallon by 50 =2.56oz.

32oz/50=.64oz or about 2/3oz per qt of gas.
