swiffer wet jet what do you think about using different cleaning sol mix my own theirs no good?

the solution bottle is no good smells terrible cleans floor miserably sticky smelly etc help any ideas of mixinf our own and using their bottle? the wet jet is good but not the cleaning fluid too rexpensive also

I take a squirt bottle with diluted pinesol and squirt it on the floor. I think if you put another solution in thier bottle it will gum up the system.

I use pine-sol in mine , if your having a sticky floor you could be putting ammonia products over top of wax . ammonia is what you need to remove old wax but if your only putting it on the wax and not scrubbing the wax off it will dissolve just enough to be sticky and then you'll have to strip it off to ever have it clean.

You can use Mr. Clean solution or Pine Sol instead.
