The words in the song go,"Seems like a mighty long time,shoo-bop,shoo-bop,my baby, oooooooo". Hope that helps. Thanks in advance. I think its a 70s song,by a soul artist.

It is called Hello stranger written by Barbara Lewis. another name with it was Yvonne Elliman. I am guessing that Yvonne sang it.. Try putting this in the web search box
( hello stranger, Barbara Lewis)
and see if you can get it.. I got on this site and it showed the lyrics and played the tune.

Yvonne Elliman - Everything's Alright

I quote:"

(shoo-bop, shoo-bop, my baby)
(shoo-bop, shoo-bop)

Hello, stranger
(ooh) It seems so good to see you back again
How long has it been?
(ooh, seems like a mighty long time)
(shoo-bop, shoo-bop, my baby, ooh)
It seems like a mighty long time"
