Why would you want this answer? Tobacco is obviously a bad thing, and I think noone should even touch a cigarette. Everyone should want pink lungs and a long lifespan. Oh and, this question depresses smokers, so you're making people feel horrible for smoking and now they've been reminded their life span is shorter. You're probably asking this question because you're smoking 2 packets a day, aswell.

I know this is a math question, but I have to tell you my grandmother smoked two packs of camels a day and died at age 85 of uterine cancer. Hmmm wonder where she put those cigaretttes.

To be trite, their lifespan is determined by how long they live. So, in fact, it would be no shorter.
