Romantic comedies where everything could be avoided if people would just be direct, but no they have to lie and pretend. blech!
Gore filled horror movies which are just silly, not scary. Watch Psycho-almost no blood and creepy.
Animated knock off movies-no originality, they just want to make a buck. Why worry about plot, when you can overpay some famous actor for voice work?

In general, I don't like predictable, formulaic movies. If I know what's coming, where is the fun?
I have absolutely no interest in action, special effects, violence in movies - this I find truly boring.
I also dislike behavior that has absolutely no bearing in reality, but yet it is suppose to be a realistic film - it's movie-land behavior not a human being's behavior.
I want to see an interesting story - be it comical, drama, romantic, fantasy, any genre really and hear dialog that makes me want to pay attention to every word.

1. REMAKES - Please stop. Please have an original idea!
2. Startle movies vs. truly scary movies - I am tired of all the scares coming from something startling with loud music/noises to startle you. Make a truly scary movie, dammit!
3. Impossibly funny family movies - by impossibly funny, i mena like Cheaper by the Dozen. with 12 kids, you would be flat out suicidal. It is not that funny. RV with Robin Williams - i guess treating your dad like crap is supposed to be funny.
