I am locked out and would like to avoid a locksmith fee.

Thats going to be a sliding actuator rather than up and down, so harder to move. But i have used a slim jim to open a bonneville.

The local Sheriff often has devices to unlock cars. Should carry AAA assistance ins., most tow operators carry devices, cheaper than locksmith.

I always or almost always carry an extra key with me as I am always locking my keys in side.

Unless you practice with a jimmy bar it isn't easy to do.

Just where would you carry the bar? It would be at home or in the car.

See a key would be so much easier.

use a slim jim,thats what any tow dealer working for triple a.
