I'm looking for those Japanese symbols for "love" "peace", etc... in a font format.

Actually you are looking for Kanji, another characters for for japanense (Chinese to be exact)

Microsoft be conscious can form in jap you basically might desire to alter the language settings on the toolbar...after which you would be able to write in hiragana, katakana and kanji. that's hassle-free once you artwork it out....that's incredibly stable.
