I make 1 paedophile joke and people say they will report me!! Can't they tell the difference between someone being serious and someone joking?

People don't give answers, just opinions, I appreciate some of mine are a bit close to the mark but hey I'm just trying to get people to think.

A pedophile comment might upset me, however, even I can take a joke. My opinion, you dont like the joke ignore it. However, I have noticed that Yahoo answers has a lot of people who A) Can not take a joke, B) Do not understand sarcasm C) Think that they are superior to others D) Must express themselves by trying to degrade others. E) Should go back to searching the internet for pornagraphy, the way it was supposed to be.

Now, I chose to read the comment you made which ticked everybody off, it was about creating a show, where child molestors get executed, so basically, only peadophiles should be offended. So, every person who got upset should be invited to the premire episode of your show as contestants.

To be honest, I've asked some very inane and non-offensive questions on here and still got spiteful replies.

I answered your paedophile question, and I didn't find it offensive. Seeing them all executed seems like a pretty good idea.

People just see that word and instantly get the hump without bothering to actually take on board the actual gist of the question.

Paedophilia is not something that should be joked about. It's sickening. And to the comment made earlier it's 2006, can you forget the stereotypes? Not all single mothers who are offended by this are high school drop outs. I feel so sorry for rude people like you. Why are you so pro paedophile jokes anyway? Thats what I'm wondering.

I do know what you mean, there are loads of people like it, its political really, like the government are always terrified of offending people so they make it impossible to have freedom of speech.
