Most Black men (street type and even the non-street type) - have nocticable voice tone being more deeper than other voices or I dunno deeper or just more with a different sound to it. And I am not talking about Black's pronouncing English or anything, I am talking about voice tone for example. compare the late Richard Pryor voice with say Jim Carrey _voice tone -

any feedback?

what a lame and dumb strerotype to label black men.
how about labeling them as stong or independent for a change?

What about Michael Jackson? There does seem to be more black men with baritone type voices than white men to me too but I don't know of any studies or anything. Just observation.

I think you are correct. And, may I add, their special tone adds richly to our language! I'm jealous...in a good way.
