Jewelry is always nice. You could get him some man-bling. Electronics are nice, but more a sign of longer commitment. Buy him some clothes or cds.

It's really easy. Personally, I think a cd or dvd (for a girl) would be not enough... so increase quantity. maybe two cd's instead of one or something.
