I am doing a report on my science project. My question is, Is there a relationship between the amount of bacteria in milk and the amount of days untill the expiration date? I need to write a research paper with it and have no outside info. If anybody knows can you answer any of this question:

*What is the difference between milk in New York City and New York because they always have two different expiration dates?

Please include references like websites. Websites would be the best. Also if you have any other info on milk that will be helpful.

Thanx

yeha well i think that when milk gets opened the longer you leave it out the more bacteria get in and thus you have a use by date.

when you drink milk straight out of the carton or bottle or whatever it goes "off" quicker coz of the bacteria you put into it.
