can some one help me on audicity?

im trying to mess with songs and theres these one song that has two of them blue bars on the same thing yet theres this other song that has only one bar hoe can i double it or make the other into one sorry if u dont get it please help whgen i try to paste anything on the second bar it goes to the first one
