If he sellthe team the relationship could get better but if he don't look for them to move to Las Vegas by the year 2010

The Angels drew over 3 million last year. They have over 30,000 season ticket holders. Prices for tickets are going up in 2007. The name change was intended to market the Angels to the entire LA Metropolitan area, not just to O.C. and Riverside county. After the name change, the Angels got a better TV deal, good enough, according to a quote from Mike Scoscia, to get another good pitcher. The Angels have a long term lease for Angel Stadium. At some point look for them to drop the name "of Anaheim." Right now, that would trigger another law suit. By the way, the court slapped the City of Anaheim with having to pay the Angels attorneys' fees in the law suit by the city against the Angels, so don't look for them to be stirring up more trouble any time soon.

I don't think they'll move. First, the Angels are very successful right where they are, and they draw huge crowds. Second, where would they move? There are several cities like Las Vegas, but they'll never have the attendance that they have in Anaheim. Third, even if Moreno wants to move, he needs the approval of MLB, and the majority of the owners. I don't see them letting him move the team out of the huge Southern California market to a smaller market.

Also, Moreno wanting to move the team because he's angry they are fighting him on the name change is really a weak excuse to move.

Not when the city of Anaheim spends $60 million of tax dollars over the 90s and 00s to redecorate the place. One man is not going to defeat a southern Californian city council, it just doesn't happen. Worse comes worse they'll build a newer better franchise.

Oh, i think if they could leave right now they would LOL. Considering how much Moreno has invested in bringing a winner to that area, they won the WS lest than 10 years ago, That areas municipality should treat them better... I think theyre gone before 2016
