Yes, they do.

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina, August 26, 2005 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A new study has revealed that unborn babies cry within the womb. Ultrasound videos taken of infants within the womb revealed 28-week-old babies crying in response to a noise stimulus.

Scientists played a 90-decibel noise to the unborn child, roughly the equivalent of a tummy rumbling, and recorded the effect the noise had via ultrasound. “It was strikingly like an infant crying,” said New Zealand pediatrician Ed Mitchell, who contributed to the US study, according to New Zealand's The Age. “Even the bottom lip quivers.”

jointly as nonetheless in the womb, a sprint possible react to sounds and different stimulus, yet can't make sounds which incorporate crying. Sounds are created via vibrations. Air is needed for the vocal twine to make the vibrations that are mandatory for the sound of crying. a sprint possible cry as quickly as air is sucked into the lungs whilst he/she is born. some toddlers make shake or kick whilst in soreness in the womb.

Yes, they can feel pain at 12 weeks pregnant. They do not cry out loud as they do not have air in their lungs to pass over the vocal cords. They do not cry for hunger because the mother supplies them with constant food. They have dreams and feel discomfort in other ways. BUT, they also smile in the womb.... !!!! and suck their thumbs, stretch, blink their eyes to light and just for practice, spread their fingers and toes ect, ect. Hope this helps....

no, babys have fluid in thier lungs untill they are born, this is why the 1st cry is always so important to hear after delivery. The infant must fill its lungs with air, and you have to have air moving over the vocal cords in order to get sound.

at about 7 months gestation they can cry. However we cannot hear it because they are surrounded in fluid and air is not in their lungs.
