Anyone know a legit home based business that doesn't want my life savings to start and really turns a profit.

My life circumstances have recently changed and I need to make about 2500.00 a month but need to work from home. Please don't answer if you are trying to add me to your down line or make a profit from me. I need a real answer. THANKS

The problem with your question is, if people actually know of a legitimate home based business, that means they are already in it right? So you ask that people not try to add you to their downline, yet you are looking for Network Marketing, and that's what we do. We tell people about our opportunity, they make a decision on it, and can choose to join or not.
I would say that anyone who isn't involved in a network marketing program, likely doesn't know too much about which ones are best.

I'm not sure what you're looking for but becoming a Mary Kay consultant may be the perfect thing. Start up costs are VERY low and you make 1/2 of everything you sell immediately upon becoming a consultant. There are no territories, no quotas so you can sell to anyone and do as much or as little as you need or want to do. I am a Director but am very low pressure and am just here to help you. I started a business of my own but it does not involve working at home just in homes.
I do make readys for real estate agents and large apartment communities. I don't have to worry about people being there I'm in there cleaning 'cause someone moved out.
Don't quit your day job, start out part time making a reputation for yourself. You can have free business cards made to pass out and they will only cost you for shipping.
The only other thing you need are cleaning supplies. You probably already have them on hand.
I started out charging by the size of the unit. Say $45.00 for a 1 bdrm and $60 for a two and so on.
Sometimes it takes you a long time and it's messy but, I found that most of the time I could do the job quickly. It all weighs out.
Don't take on carpet cleaning. Let the guys with the big guns do that. You can However, sub contract to them.
You'll need a city & county license but they are cheap. For me 1 year $12.00.
The more do you do the more you will make. And if you get to a point where it's too much for one person, get a helper.

I did Herbal Life together with a friend when I was still in Germany in the mid nineties. I really liked the products.But that was before the Internet. So marketing was not easy and it was costly. This, of course, is a lot easier today, but there are also a lot more people trying to sell it and a lot of other products like Herbal Life. I am sure that you can make a good income, because people are doing it. But I think it will take a lot of time, money and effort to be successful. There are easier ways to make money!

I stay as far away MLM, affiliate business/marketing and recruiting referrals as I can, did that for a year and lost $2500

I've been doing this for two years now and it's beginning to pay off, don't think your going to get rich in a year or two with anything on the net, e-mail me if you like.
