So today I went to Gap and tried their "Curvy" jeans (ended up too big in the waist) and I tried Old Navy. Apple Bottoms seems to "teeny bopperish." My problem is that I have smaller waist 25 and quite bigger hips, think J.Lo's bottom, only I wish I looked more like her in other ways :P Ihave broad sholders and my legs are a bit on the shorter side, so I always try to lengthen those.

Who else has problems of a small waist with larger hips and thighs? What other brands are out there that cater to these figures? I've heard of Pzi, anything else? I guess if that's all there is I'll just have to suck it up and buy those.

I tried Pzi and while they did have a nice, nice fit, they also had a nice, nice price of 150-180.

I'm a classic pear shape and have been searching for the best fitting jeans myself. I finally found them. Kohls brand jeans, called Sonoma. They are boot cut, so they have a slight bell shape on the legs, they have some lycra in them, so they're slightly stretchy. I buy the average length, and they're just right for my height...no hemming. They're a bit big in the waist, but I take them in about 1/2 inch, and they have a lower rise, so they sit just below the waist. Absolutely perfect. They fit so well, I went on a hunt and searched every Kohls within a 50 mile radius of my house. I ended up buying 6 pairs to have as backups. The real beauty - they're only $16.00!!! They are fantastic. Kohls Sonoma Boot Cut. Go get 'em!!

Yeah, I do too. Actually, that kinda runs in my family. I'm not fortunate enough to be as small as you are in the waist, though :)
I usually go to Lane Bryant, a department store for full-figured, curvy women. You can try that out, but honestly, their sizes start at 14. If you're a 25 waist, you may want to consider investing in a lot of belts, because you'll find that while you can pull the jeans over your hips, you'll have a considerable amount of room in the waist area. You could also try Fashion Bug or Dots. They usually cater to curvier women and are only a fraction of the cost of Lane Bryant. Hope this helps:)

I'm curvy all over, and I have actually found that guys' jeans look best! Lucky Brand Guy's Jeans look fantastic on me. It's because girls jeans assume that girls all have the same shape (regardless of size), and we don't. Guys have more room in the butt and less in the stomach. Good luck!
