Does anyone know what happened to that show? Why did it go off. It was a great show. What did you think of it?

You know i loved this show and we even spear headed a letter writing campaign to keep it on the air because nbc totally lied and told everybody that if they had enough letters they would keep it on the air . We found out that nbc had like over 2 million letter and they still cancelled it. I loved that show i like brittany snow who played the daughter meg. She is from ;our hometown she is from tampa fla. I cant believe that nbc cancelled the show it was so good . good luck and god bless and happy thanksgiving.

I don't know!!!! I used to watch it all the time and then it just disappeared.... I guess they didn't renew it for the next season!!
it's really a shame, cause it was a really great show about family and life during that time....I remember quite a bit of those events taking place when I was a kid!!! :(

Yes, I thought it was great! However, it was produced by Dick Clark and after his stroke , they didn't continue the series. The cast of characters though has gone on to do guest spots on tv and movies,ie, the mom "Gail O'Grady" did some Lifetime movies. And the girl who payed "Meg" is in a movie now (Sorry can"t remember the name of it).

Good ? I never gave it a thought till you mentioned it. I used to watch it all the time. Not sure when it went off the air
