That's rediculuous. If it were true than the majority of babies suffering from FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome) would be Chinese and this is not the case. Most babies that suffer from FAS are white.

Im an OB nurse and ive never had ne want alcohol but hey probably would. Pregnancy and birth are considered cold illnesses and according to Chinese medicine it should be treated with hot foods and drinks. Like Hot Tea, we have to bring medicine to them with Luke warm water or they will refuse the med. And alcohol is warm so it is possilbe.

I'm not really sure about that one. I've never really heard that. One thing that confuses me about what you can and can't do during pregnancy is sushi. Many generations of Japanese women eat or have eaten sushi while they are pregnant, but now they say it's not safe. Look at all the generations of Japanese children whose mothers ate sushi. Traditionally they drink sake with their sushi, too. So there's two no-no's we are told during pregnancy that another culture continues during their pregnancies and everything turns out fine with them. It makes you wonder doesn't it. Oh by the way, I don't eat sushi or drink alcohol since I'm pregnant.
