Neither, I have absolutely terrible ones that over power the good ones in both childhood and adulthood, but if I had to pick one it would be adulthood as the best.

from adulthood, holding my newborn son and looking into his eyes the first time

from childhood, when I was 6 and my grandpa and a couple of his WW2 buddies took me nauga hunting (that's how you get naugahyde). We all had our sticks and whistles (just like in a snipe hunt). I couldn't figure out why I was the only one out there blowing my whistle (to draw the naugas out from the bushes), and the old guys just sat in front of the fire laughing and drinking beer. I didn't catch any naugas but I had a lot of fun

ooh, sorry, had to edit because I misread the question, my childhood sucked after my grandpa died (3 months after the nauga hunt), so I'll go with adulthood
