Castor oil doesn't help the baby drop, it helps induce contractions. If the baby hasn't dropped yet, you aren't ready to start with the contractions.

Please don't take it You may have a cramp and just clean your bowels out.
The baby will drop in time the Castor oil , jumping , riding on a bumpy road they are just old women tales.
Talk to your Dr. they will help you through this

I would not risk your baby by taking castor oil! Talk to your doctor before doing anything first.

Umm, that is so not true. My mother said she took it with her first child, and said she went into labor the next day.. if you ask me it's just luck. Whose to say you weren't already going to go into labor? I'm pretty sure the only thing you will get out of taking castrol oil is diareaha. Why would you want a sore butt? your already going to get one once you do go into labor.

caster oil is supposed to help you dialate and efface to lead to contrations. i wouldn't suggest it though. it will give you the runs and possibly make you vomit
