If you do a bit of genealogy, you might find that you have "royal" blood. I do....though several ancestry lines, but it doesn't entitle me to anything different than the next guy. I don't think I'd like the "royalty" social scene....it's just too shallow for me and I don't like the idea of people just sitting around blowing money. That doesn't make for a happy life. From what I've read a lot of royals are miserable unless they are very involved in humanitarian efforts or government. If I were important as a royal I guess that I would probably do the same thing I do now which is write and illustrate children's books. I would avoid clubbing and keep a small circle of true friends.

I would give TONS of money to little kids and people that are starving then I would set up LOTS of homes where then non-homeless people could stay. After I do that I would set a AWESOME sports place like a SUPER DUPER SUPER X100 Y so that kids could play, but I would make membership free for kids and little for adults. After that well really first I would work on the things they teach in school and get great teachers and tutors to help kids. Then I would buy new schools with computer labs, spas for the teachers, totally awesome gyms, a fine diner lunch room, and HUGE classrooms! After that I would work on all the little things like laws that ban stuff and all that don't seem right!

Imprison scientists. Provide excellent education and teachers for all citizens. Tear down all buildings over 2 or 3 stories high. Be kind to animals. Teach the responsibilities of royalty so I'm not thought to be sitting up on the hill on my tuffet doing nothing

it would all depend on the type of royalty and my place in the grand scheme of things .

it would also depend upon if I were a member of a constitutional monarchy or ruling monarchy.

If I were in the ruling class of monarchy, and if I were the monarch, then my hands would be busy running a country.

If I were in a constitutional monarchy and served only as the "Head of State" with limited political power (like the English Monarch), and assuming I were the monarch, I would need to play by the rules entrusted under my care, as monarchy is a heritage that needs to be carried forward and into the future. Why? It connects a culture, a society, to its past.

I would occasionally disguise myself and mix with my subjects. Like in a bar, the grocery store, a health clinic. I would want to experience and understand the day to day lives of my subjects, the type of conditions they live under. From this, I would develop ideas of what was needed or changes that needed to be made. This is information I would convey craftfully to my prime minister during our private meetings. In this fashion, my power of influence could be put to good use.

If I were just a mere prince or princess (of the blood royal or by marriage) I would hope I would do much the same activities as my monarch parent so that I could contribute to the monarchy and in the end, the people. It would be my hope, that I wouldn't buy into the jet set group, but to simply learn how to separate my royal self from my personal self. I would hope in the final analysis, that I would be true unto myself. Then, I could be true to all things.

If I was royalty, I'd be laid back and funny. I would be loud and give out my opinions to the press whether anyone likes them or not.

I'd start various charities for the poor and for breast cancer and AIDS.

Well, first off I would be married to Prince William, do one big charity project that would help many people and in my free time, go shopping, have dinner at great resturants, travielling, etc.

Ah. I would do nothing except read books all day, go to museums, and exercise. (And of course run my country)
I would annually give a sum to a certain charity organization, though.

Give the majority of my money to the poor. Allow people to wear the scarf. Try to educate as many kids as possible. Give money to orphanages. Buy a Mercedes Benz.
