why mexican hispanic tv monopolio keep steal all latin cultural music and show it like is from mexico, stop it regional, norteña, banda, corrido that`s the same crap, they shouldn`t have a award in any latino awards, and cumbia is from colombia!! and salsa, merengue is a old latin american tradition not " tropical"

Music is universal. You should take it as a compliment that they recognize and want to perform Latin cultural music because it only proves that Latin cultural music is beautiful. I have seen a lot of Latin American singers crossover into different music than just singing Salsa and Merengue(Mark Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Shakira, Ricky Martin etc. artists that I love by the way) but would never say that they were trying to take over a certain type of music or claim as their own. I would look at it as an artist expanding their horizons in music.
