Whos the best skateboarder?

In my personal opnion, I think it depends. Skate and Vert skating are completly different, and both have someone who revolutionized them.

Rodney mullen is [well i think] the best skateboarder of all time. He has been skating since he was 8, and now hes 40 sum years old. And he is still a beast!!!! Go to youtube and just search "rodney mullen" and you will get tons of videos showing what he can do. He is sooo amazing, i tried doin some of the stuff he does, and i couldnt even come close. He is just sooo advanced and comfortable on a skateboard its unbelievable. Without mullen, we wouldn't have tricks like heelflip, kickflip, 360 flip, ect.

Then tony hawk, one of the best vert skaters that ever lived. In the 80's, when skating wasnt "cool" anymore, he still went out with his skateboard and practiced every day. He got a huge deal with birdhouse, which led to him having enough money to create Hawk Skateboards [a branch of birdhouse], His own series of video games [i wanna get the new one so badly!], and of course, when the whole world fell in love with those little finger boards, he had his own ramps and stuff you could buy that said "HAWK" all over him. Do you know how many kids everyday say "I wanna be just like tony hawk!!!" He is probably one of the biggest influences on young people in sports history.\

Without those two people, skating wouldn't be what it is today.

Tony Hawk is an alright skater but RODNEY MULLEN is the best street skater. Bam Magera is pretty dam good skater. Bob Burnquist is the best vert skater, he can do loop-de-loops and loops with gaps on the top. Arto sarri can skate around a city and make a movie he can skate anything pretty much. Ryan Sheckler is the future in skateboarding in twenty years Rodney Mullen+Tony Hawk=Ryan Sheckler. He has tons of style. Naja Houston is 11 years old and can probly skate better then most pros. Mike Valley is a great big air skater and loves to rip it up. Donny Barley Will try something until he gets it right sometimes it takes him 4 days but in the end he lands it.Danny Way jumped the great wall of China Last year and now skates for Plan B and Nixon. Who do You think is the best?

Rodney Mullen invented 90% of all skate tricks, I rest my case. Tony Hawk did a lot for vert though, but i don't crap myself watching tony hawk like I do when rodney skates. go on youtube and type in rodney mullen and just watch the first video.
