your rotors are warped have a brake job done they only need to be out a few thousandths of an inch to cause the shaking. you will not be able to see that without a dial indicator

ANY time a vehicle sits for an extended period of time, there will DEFINITELY be enough rust buildup on brake rotors to cause the symptom you describe. Either machine your rotors (if they are still within the specs.) or replace them, which I would recommend with a new set of pads as well, even if they still have some lining material left, and your problem is fixed. Looking at them isn't going to tell you anything. They way to tell EXACT runout, is to remove wheels, and put a dial indicator on it, and read the measurement. Hope this helps.

Check the brakes and pads. If they have rust on them see if they can be machined. If not then they need to be replaced. Make sure you have the brakes serviced at least once a year.

the rotors need turned, thats what causes shaking when braking, just the front ones need turned, theres nothing wrong with calipers unless the car is pulling when you hit the brakes.

You can't tell by looking if rotors are warped . Just replaced them on my son's '01 GP. I think they were 38 bucks each,(not bad). Also put on tie rod ends because of the shaking you mentioned.

even though they don't look like it, i bet the rotors are warped. also you brake shoes may not be wearing down even and that could cause the problem.

you cant tell by looking at them.why dont you pump the brakes and have someone see if the calipers are working.you need to have them turned, the machine shop can tell you if they are warped.
