Due dates aren't accurate. You might just be right where you should be.
It's like baking. It doesn't come out till it's done.
Have patience. It's not like you're going anywhere right you won't miss anything, I promise.

First and foremost: What you're going through is natural. Take a few deep breaths and realize that there is a potential of at least two more weeks of feeling tired, being sore, and not sleeping well. Especially if this is your first child. While it feels like it'll never happen, rest assured that it will, indeed, happen, and soon.
If you're interested in trying to "speed things up" I suggest going on walks as often as you possibly can, as well as fairly long car rides. If you start feeling pressure or cramps while doing either of these, remember it could be contractions and try to head back home before they get to be too much.
Congratulations, you're almost there, remember to breath and put your feet up while you can, baby will keep you up in many new ways once (s)he's entered the world!

well, 40 weeks is the actual time of full term..and it is actually normal for a baby to come 2 weeks early or late, the date the baby is actually due can fluctuate by two weeks either way. She will come when she is ready, right now..enjoy the peace and quiet, and get plenty of rest..you will need it later

Your getting upset won't make it go faster. Most babies are overdue. Most doctors will induce at 2 weeks overdue. So you possibly have 3 weeks left. Inside you is the safest place for your baby. Each day she is in there, her body is that much more developed. She'll pick her birthday, just give her time.

Yeah, it can be sssoooo frustrating. My first son was indused 3 weeks early, the second came flying out 5 days early, and my third 1 day early. When your baby is ready it will come, try to enjoy your quiet nights as best as you can.
Also, try these few things....
Walking, sex, walking, sex, warm bath, walking, sex, etc....
though I prefered walking through the mall that way if I did go into labor there would be people around, and I was half way to the hospital...Good luck

She will when she is good and done growing. Enjoy it because the longer she stays in the better off she'll be. It's flu season so be lucky that she wants to stay in a little longer. Good Luck.

Yup, when you least expect it, he or she will decide to come out. I felt the same way until one morning I got up to go pee and swwwoooosh, my water broke all the way from to bed to the bathroom.
