The Jedi Council includes heavy hitters like Yoda, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin, Plo Koon, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Kit Fisto, and Agen Kolar

The Order of the Phoenix includes powerful magic users including but not limited to Dumbledore, Snape, Mad-Eye Moody, Tonks, Harry Potter, Remus Lupin, and Sirius Black

This is a battle between the primal elements of the Force and the mystical elements of magic. Will the Council's fighting skill and martial discipline pay off or will the Order's mastery of all things magic prevail?

Who will win in the battle between the two archetypal orders?

The Force is a kind of magic in itself. So basically they're using the same ammo. Plus, if you count out the dead or the "gone evil" you're left with only a few on each side.
I figure the Jedi will win. They're basically doing occullamency (I KNOW I spelled that wrong, I don't remember how to spell it) and that particular magic is really hard to do in the Order's world. So, with the Jedis using that, they'll easily overturn the Order.

Well, since the "masters" can't seem to survive the day without Harry and the kids saving all their azzes I guess the Jedis would win by default.

However, my money is on the Sith since they can and have wiped out almost all the Jedi from the galaxy.

Long Live Darth Sidious!

Good question...I'll go with the Jedi Council, because they have magic skill aka "the force" and good reflexes for fighting with lightsabers. Harry and his crowd only have magic.

The Council decides not to take the Dark Path, and thus there IS no battle. Ha-ha.

The Order of the Phoenix. No question about it.

Why? They are both on the side of good. You would think they would want to work together.
But, I would have to say The Order of The Phoenix. Dumbledore's not a good guy to mess with.
