my ferrets used to do that to the boys she may be in season or very play full. be careful cause if the male wants some it can be very dangerous for the female as he basically rapes her and attacks her till unconscious and sometimes female will die i know from having quiet a few ferrets over the years. but i got mine all done in the end it also reduces the smell. if the females ends up pregnant separate her from males as they don't like pregnant females or babies and will kill mother and babies if given the chance
