Could I buy the sidekick 3 then have cingular be my plan provider?

You will not be able to use the sidekick 3 for cingular. It is a T-Mobile exclusive phone and therefore it is locked for use with T-Mobile only. Sorry :-(.

Ask cingular if they have the service to offer you,if you have your own phone instruments you can do it,by paying an additional charges for the connection charges,time you consumed (or use)+taxes extra.

Since they both use sim cards you should be able to buy an unlocked one off ebay.
