Hi I am a fellow Capricorn :-D
When Libra and Capricorn come together in a love match, they can be a good couple -- if they can uncover their sometimes difficult to find similarities. On the surface, these two couldn't be more different: While Capricorn is quiet and unassuming, Libra tends to be a social butterfly, delighting in visiting with other people. Capricorn is concerned with hard work as a means toward career advancement and recognition; Libra is concerned with beauty, art and balance in life and relationships. This is not to say, however, that there is no meeting point for these two; if they are coming from a base of mutual love and respect, they can work to find their common ground. When these two Signs work together on a project or a problem, it works best if they have pre-set roles to fulfill, as they both like to take charge. Once their expectations are defined, their approaches are once again quite different: Libra is pondering and intellectual, but Capricorn sees the value of doing things the hard way if it leads to certain success. Once the partners understand each other's style, their methods help them to achieve together what they could not achieve alone. Libra is ruled by the Planet Venus (Love) and Capricorn is ruled by Planet, while Saturn is cold, hard and masculine. These Planets don't have much in common so it's important for Libra and Capricorn to work through their differences. Venus encourages Libra to slow down to take in the beauty and romance life offers; this can come across as laziness to Capricorn, whose Saturn influence lends them that dogged determination to push forward against all odds and succeed at the goals they set for themselves. These two Planets can work at cross-purposes, creating antagonism, strife and repressed emotions unless Libra and Capricorn make a concerted effort to understand and accept one another's focus in life. Capricorn must take care not to discourage Libra from their natural enthusiasm and optimism, and Libra must put their natural diplomacy to use in order to maintain balance with Capricorn.
Libra is an Air Sign and Capricorn is an Earth Sign. Libra relies on their intellect in life; their sensibilities are attuned to aesthetics, a subject on which a true Libra always has lots of opinions. Capricorns rely on brain power as well, but of a different sort; they search for the pragmatic method in all they do, and may not feel they have time to dabble in aesthetics. If these two can learn to work as a team, they could form two sides of a coin, so to speak. Libra and Capricorn are both Cardinal Signs. Both Signs are initiators, but they have such widely varying work ethics that they work better when they each have a particular, well-defined role. When it comes to conflict, Libra will be the first to back down, which will appease Capricorn (who likes to be right!). It's important for both partners to understand that compromise is they key to their success. What's the best aspect of the Libra-Capricorn relationship? They each bring their own qualities to the relationship. Once they allow one another to be themselves -- rather than getting in one another's way -- they can blend well to make a whole. Theirs is a challenging relationship, but they can learn from each other if they maintain the effort.
Best Wishes and Good Luck :-)

This is probably a rather good combination. On the surface, these two seems to be opposites, but the taciturn Capricorn individual will doubtless be much intrigued by the Libra native. If the Libra subject does not find the steady nature of Capricorn to be overly boring, then there is a fair chance here for a successful union. However, unless the Capricorn native is capable of opening up a little more than usual, there are likely to be problems in terms of longevity.

Libra and Capricorn
The first encounter between Scales and Goat is intense, due to deep differences. You are attracted by the Goat's sexuality and by that strong, silent persona, while the Goat is impressed by your style and panache. This makes magnetism in the bedroom, but you are a creature of discussion where the Goat assimilates information. You weigh up propositions until the right answer comes, while the Goat will wait for sufficient facts, then decide on a course of action. Your avid mental processes fascinate the Goat at first, but your conservative compadre may tire of the constant need to debate things that don't lead directly to a decision.
Libra the Scales and Capricorn the Sea-Goat are Cardinal Signs. This is a challenge, so you need to negotiate who's in charge. Neither surrenders easily. You try to accommodate, but you don't like to give up control. You'll find that the Goat is a creature who takes charge with determination, so somewhere along the line, you will struggle over who's the boss.
Capricorn, an Earth Sign, is guided by practical concerns, where the Air of Libra loves to speculate. Goatish realism versus Scales idealism! If you don't compromise, you won't survive. Your Goat can be grounding where you can be uplifting - if you negotiate the process of communication. If you don't, Air blows across the face of Earth and passes, leaving things much as they were.
Ruled by Venus, you are in love with love and enjoy spending money. The Goat is a penny-pinching loner and often emotionally repressed. Remember how that strong, silent image impressed you at first? Cool, structured Saturn is strong in both Signs, but your match is best served if you have domain in different areas, perhaps with you in charge at home, while the Goat rules at work, or vice versa. This balance between home and work is crucial to success between you. If one dominates in both areas, the other will leave.
You are a creature of persuasion. Your strength is in your ability to see things from both sides, but once Capricorn makes up its mind, the Goat will change it only if you present clear reasons for doing so and allow time to think things through. "Maybe it could all be another way" has no appeal to Cap without the evidence.
If you want something from Capricorn, be prepared to argue your case in a reasoned way. However, if your Goat won't listen, there's little future, since you need the flair of informed discussion in your life. If you can work this out, you're a powerful combination. If not, it's bound to leave you searching elsewhere for the love of your life.

It could be the Rising and Moon or Venus compatibility. It's all not necessary based on the Sun sign. Need to dig deeper beyond the Sun signs, darling. You'll be amazed how much you will learn. :D Good Luck!

Not really...at least not for a long time.
This is a very unlikely match that has not much chance of lasting past the first date. You may be drawn to a Capricorn boy's physical charms, but you will hate his stick-in-the-mud personality. Anything fun you can think of to do, he can think of five reasons why you shouldn't do it. It's like having a third parent to deal with! You love to goof off and have a great time, while he wants to do homework and work on his pet projects, like building his own computer from scratch. He won't approve of your spending sprees or your less-than-serious approach to life. You'll find him dull, dull, dull. This relationship won't last long. A poor match.

well no not really It's difficult for the Goat to accept your inactivity. Physically there is a powerful attraction between you, unfortunately it is seldom lasting.

Not really, they are very different in what they want, and how they act and re-act to things. That can be very difficult in a relationship!
