What do you think of my idea: When a terrorist is captured, instead of arresting him and putting him in jail, where he might be abused. We send him to college, where he can learn and improve his life. He has to stay until he completes his bachelors (or masters), and then we will send him home. I think this would stop terrorists and it would be good for college students to mingle with a more diverse crowd. Obviously, it will have to be paid for by taxes but maybe we could cut some military spending, as the more terrorists we send to college, the less fighting there will be. Who agrees with me?

Your idea is good but I consider it quite unfair. There would be immigrants, whom would sell an arm and a leg to get into the U.S., not even dreaming that they could go to high school, and there would be terrorists whom would barge in, blow up a couple of buildings and get free college education.
Yes, there should be education for ALL criminals (not just terrorists) but this should take place in jails.
Note:I don't live in the U.S., anymore, so this doesn't concern me directly, but terrorism is a worldwide problem

I see why you think that is a good idea. I am all for education them in how we rly are, and making peace with these people...
I believe that should be a part of their imprisonment, but I don't agree with sending them to college with a bunch of Americans.
They would just be rideculed and maybe even hurt.
Plus, any poor middle-eastern would pretend they were going to bomb us just to get free education.
The American public would never agree to rewarding terroists in such a way, especially with their money.
I admire the thought though, I can see how it worked in your mind.

Ummm...how about no!? These people do not offer the blessings that America gives it's citizens. Why give them a chance to make friends in America that can be potential allies in their next plot. I'm sorry but this is a horrible idea.

Actually a lot of them are already college educated.
So therefore I think it will much more cost effective to just shoot them.
