It seems to me that Tom Cruise ends up in a lot of situations where he convieniently comes out looking like a hero, and Katie Holmes definately did her career a favor by marrying him. So I would say definately yes.

I think the opposite, they really don't want the media involved in their lives and try to avoid them...In turn, this makes the media all the more interested in what their darling "TomKat" is up to. Drives them nuts when they don't know....
I agree with the chick above me, Brittney Spears takes the cake.
