When we can't find an answer on a difficult situation, we become vanerable, been there, devorced bringing a child on my own in a small society. There was a time or two, had a reading. Recently broke up from a nice relationship. I wanted to know why, had a psychic reading. I have come to a conclusion that all these psychics are excellent acters, bombarding ur mind, to do things, such as move on, make new friends, start dating new people. Be strong. And people in weak times, we think that they are so accurate. They see nothing, they just lead u to do things that are more possible to happen to any human. AND PEOPLE PAY ALL THESE MONEY, just to get there hopes up, that they might find a better job, that there ex will return etc. IF only we all had more confidence and self esteem to see with clarity, we would just see things simple and do what is realistic good for us and our beloved ones. GIVE ME UR OPINION ON THIS, does this thing as psychic realy exist or not?

There are so many psychics out there that actually have a written I am talking typed out script that they go by with each of the customers they have. Their answers are so broad but when the slightest bit of info they say sparks something in the customer to think wow they are really psychics. No they are not!!! These people are fake and prey on innocent victims that are trying to get info or closure.

I believe there are more dimensions to the universe than most of us perceive, and it's been scientifically shown that we use a very small portion of our brains. So, I believe that some people may indeed have the gift of psychic ability, but many are just good talkers who make a living taking advantage of others. I agree with you, if we all had more confidence and searched within ourselves, we'd find the answers we're looking for. I have a friend who always tells me "Let the Universe bring it all together." It sounds spacey, but it's the most comforting advice I have ever received.

I don't think they are real... psychics are like the horoscope, the i-ching, or even religion. They are there to confort people and give a sense of order and harmony to the universe, which is really a chaotic place.
The truth is that we cannot predict our lives, and that there are many events over which we have little control. This thought desperates and frightens most people - to realize that most variables in your life cannot be controled. It makes you feel helpless.

To make up for these feelings of impotence, people start to look for supernatural explanations to give meaning and order to their lives... specially if they are going through a rough time.

Psychics are nothing more than very good detectives... they look at your clothes, reaction, environments and attitudes, and guess about your life so that you think they are "gifted". And indeed they are, not in a supernatural way, but with a good sense of reasoning, keen observation, and ability to take your money.

I don't know if there are any real psychics out there. I believe most of them are phonies. They are well trained in reading body language, the smallest facial expressions, and vocal intonation to figure out what you want to hear. They also have an FBI quality ability to deduce information out of innocent seeming questions. It is more about psychology and reading people than any amount of psychic powers. I as much as anyone would like to believe, but the sceptical scientist in me just won't allow me to suspend belief enough to fall for this stuff.

your quiet right girl.. Sounds like your having a tough time of things.. life is a roller coaster ride with its ups and downs. We all have to face the challanges that life throws at us all. Some people get bigger rocks thrown at them & some just get pebbles. either way it can be hard to face down these life missles thrown at us. U certainly dont need psychics to tell you whats ahead, even if they dont truly know.. All I can say is that I hope thing get better for you soon..

Scientific tests have shown no more than chance for a lot of these things. For instance Astrology, mediums, phsychics, etc. What I do believe in is called Cold Reading (a trick phychics and medium's use). Check that out.

I believe there really are people who are "psychic". However, as you say, there are likely more fakes than there are true psychics. If you really pay attention to people: to what they are not saying as well as what they are; to their body language; etc., you will likely "see" more thing than the average person who doesn't pay attention and they might think YOU are psychic.

I have done tarot readings for people and had them crying because I knew things about their lives that they hadn't told me. All I was doing was reading the cards they chose. For example, an aquaintance asked me to read for him and I discovered that he had had a cancer scare a few months previously, something he had not told anyone. I don't pretend to know how it came from the cards, but it sure made a believer out of him.

I think there is such a thing but I think there are many more phonies out there than the real thing.
