The question is, can Mr Right see beyond the whealchair but also see it as part of your identity. In other words does he love you for who and what you are. Does he accept or does he tolerate.

Considering the guy isn't disabled or anything and able to take care for the other person, he shouldn't hold that against the other person. What if the situation were reversed? If it weren't for being disabled myself (not in a wheel chair), I have a seziure disorder (epilepsy) and a bad back. I may consider it if I found miss right. Being disabled or handcapped should NOT be a main factor, that factor should be at the bottom of the list. If guys won't go out with you only because you're iin a wheelchair, they are worth worrying about. I know it can be depressing at times. With my seziure disorder, I can't drive. Oh, I proberlly could, but just because I have epilepsy, auto iinsurance would run me about $300 - $500 a month. Just for comp. & liability on 30 yr. old Ford or Chev. You'll proberly agree that life isn't fair at times. It's just something that we have to live with, like it or not. Hope things go okay with you, remember, there are thousands in the same spot.

I've dated someone in a wheelchair before....they were a beautiful person. Obviously there are stumbling blocks in dating a person in a wheelchair.....you have to change your whole mindset as far as where you can go & what you can do. Where I live, many of the bars & clubs only have stair access. If you get creative.....nothing really holds you back.
As for when the relationship gets to the personal part....again, imagination is where it's at. Never had any problems there either.
Look beyond the physical and open yourself up to a beautiful & loving relationship!

Truthfully not all guys would go out with a girl in a wheel chair. However, a guy that would not does not desrve you. Be yourself and do not be preoccupied with finding a boyfriend. It is my belief that 2 people that are meant to be together will find each other without having to search near and far.

My Opinion,,,, its not about a wheelchair,, its about attitude and self esteem and drive, and best part is when a wheelchair doesnt slow them down a bit,
