I know he did a sequel to his Chanukah song, so what is the deal with not doing Happy Gilmore 2, or 50 second dates.

Adam Sandler movies that NEED a sequel :

8 Crazy Nights
Little Nicky
The Waterboy
Billy Madison

Heck, most of his movies would be good with sequels, even though they are good in and of themselves - too many people are so stuck up that they think that just because Sandler's movies hit TOO CLOSE TO HOME FOR THEM that the movies are no good.

THEY JUST DON'T LIKE SEEING SOMETHING FROM THEIR OWN LIVES ON THE BIG SCREEN.

Not likely.

He takes his charactersforward by using the same cast of characters in almost all his movies and in Rob Schneider's movies and in Norm Mc Donald's movies as well. They have each taken a turn as the devil, His friend have been in all his movies, plus he brings in Henry Winkler and Christopher Walken when he can. The only girl to repeat is Drew Barrymore and that was a sort of sequel in that Fifty First Dates was in response to the success of The Wedding Singer. And Carl Weather's character is in both Happy Gilmore and in Little Nicky. It is a little like Robert Smith and his films, the characters relate from movie to movie, excluding Punch Drunk Love that really was his worst movie ever.

Are you kidding? That jackass has been making the same movie over and over for years! His popularity is an embarassing commentary on Americans' lack of anything even resembling good taste!

Because his movies usually end happily and resolved. I like them that way.

I hope not.
I'm sure he's a nice person in real life, but his movies do nothing for me.
