Call your ISP (the people who you pay for internet) and ask them if they have a faster plan or service you can switch to. If you're on DSL, you can upgrade to Cable which is far faster in most cases. I can't imagine you'd need much more speed than that. I get 12mbps from my cable company, so that should do.

Check with your Internet Service Providers in the area. I know the ones around here offer us different packages. Our DSL provider has a package especially for companies hosting a webserver with the same upstream as the downstream. My cable company offers 3 or 4 levels of service before hitting the business class service. More bandwidth = more money. You can also pay for a business class type service if you really need more. Business class will be a lot cheaper then a T1, typically around $80 to $100. T1 could range in the 100's or thousands possibly per month depending where you live and not to mention any setup charges.

If you're on dsl now the next step up would be a T-1. But that costs quite a bit more then dsl does. You can do things alot faster and do more too but it does cost.

Your bandwidth is to with your connection you need to upgrade your pc connection to get the best bandwidth meaning you need to upgrade your internet connection if your bandwidth is poor or change the settings of the programme you are using to increase the bandwidth.
