You still got your President in office?

They got a "thumpin' ".

But seriously, it's not all Republicans ... and second, we Democrats have had our bitter moments too. (The 2000 election, in particular, was a brutal pill.)

People have to remember that part of being in a democracy is that sometimes your guy loses. It's the ability to say "we lost this time, but THAT'S OKAY" that distinguishes a democracy from, say, the Sunnis vs. Shiites ... where the majority assumes that its role is to begin oppressing the minority, and the minorty assumes that its role it to try and overthrow the majority by force.

And when you are the majority, you need to govern with the knowledge that *someday you will be the minority again.* So you need to treat the minority with the same respect you hope to get in return someday. I look at Karl Rove, Tom DeLay, Trent Lott, Dennis Hastert, etc. and say, they forgot got that.

I.e. they are bitter because they are expecting us to behave like just as big a group of a**holes as they were.

I personally hope we prove them wrong.

What do you mean? What bitterness?

I don't know of any Republicans that are bitter. Look, there were no court challenges to the election results, no excessive recounts, all concessions were given in a timely manner, and there were no whiney press conferences like we see every time a Democrat loses. If there is any bitterness, it's because Democrats don't play fair when Republicans win.

Oh wow, that's great. Yeah, there are some bitter republicans. specific, there are some bitter democrats. on the different hand I comprehend which you're talking in words of their perspectives. So i might say, no their ideals, perspectives, and suggestions are actually not any extra bitter. " Is that why they latch to weapons, abortion and immigration... in simple terms via reality they might't communicate approximately the rest?" Are you extreme? on the beginning up matters which includes abortion are substantial in case you have Christian values. And what the heck is up with " in simple terms via reality they might't communicate approximately the rest" ? Are you asleep? There are a great quantity of matters " we are waiting to communicate approximately." do a sprint study before you pass out asking those themes.

Not sure if they are bitter or not. However I have heard that many of them did not vote this time because they were mad at the things not getting done. Immigration being one of the big things and then the war for another.

I'm not bitter! Why generalize? I would like to know why so many Democrats are still so angry when they won so big. You'd think they'd be gitty in jubilation instead of the same nastiness. Don't they know how to be happy?

Sean, they can't handle the loss. They know the FBI was on the poll counting to make sure they didn't do the same thing they did before and as we all know, if they wouldn't have dipped their hand in the cookie jar - so to speak - and cheated their way in, Bush would not have won the second term, nor the first to be frank.

They are sad and bitter because Democrats have control over the house and Senate. Republicans don't have the majority voice any more, and the american goverment is gonna have to adjust

I hope if they are bitter it is directed at themselves for backing Bush because they were expected to follow the party line!

Why do politicians suck ***??

Politicians are the scum of the society. The higher you go the worse they are. This wasn't always the case in my opinion, but political parties have finally destroyed their own purpose and slowly are destroying the country.
