No, that's statutory rape. Legally, a minor is not old enough to consent.

Depends on the age. By definition, it is statutory rape. If a person is legally a minor, anyone old enough to be a legal adult cannot have sex with that person.
We do have the double standard of female teachers getting probation for having sex with a minor boy, but throwing the book at males who do the same.

The only legal way around this would be if a couple was married and one person was over 18 and the other was under 18. Otherwise, it's statutory rape.

In almost all states and many counties, any sex with a minor is presumed to be non-consenting, because the minor is considered not able to consent to have sex with an adult.

Not in Canada, it's statuatory rape. Children don't have the right to 'decide' when it's with an adult, although minors can legally have sex with other minors.
