However sad it makes me to admit it, I have now come to realize they will never come to be

They are dreams....not a fact, not a certainty so they inherently come with a risk of being unattainable. Many of my dreams have come true (and some I wondered why I ever dreamed of to start with lol). Some have not. But I don't feel slighted or unable to face the fact they did not come true. I will not live a hopeless life devoid of dreams because of a fear they may not come true. Instead, I will dream on, maybe something new or refresh a dream I had in my youth. But ultimately, dreams symbolize hope. When I am an old woman and my time is near, I will still have dreams...if not for myself for the ones I love. I believe in the power of dreams, in the power of hope. It is the catalyst for all things great.

My dreams have always come true.

I had a dream to be married by the time I was 24.
I met my wife when I was 23. we were married six months
after my 24th birthday.

My wife and I had a dream to have 6 children.
We kinda missed that one. We only have 5

I had a dream to be married happily for my entire life.
So far we have been married for 41 very happy years.

I had a dream to be the highest paid person in my trade
working in a nonunion shop and after 47 years in the
trade I was.

At retirement I decided to become a writer of screenplays.
I have 3 scripts in copyright.

I have a dream to produce my screenplays. Its coming.

All that is absolute necessary is to have the proper attitude.
Set the goal and go for it.

If you miss, so what. You did get part way there, and that is what
counts.

Try again.

When you realize that what you dream about isn't going to happen, you make new dreams. Simple. People who gloom on one thing only, are unhappy people. There's always something new to try, and do. I'm retired now, and I've had many dreams over the years, when one didn't work out, I just dreamed of another. Some work, some don't. It's all left to fate. But in truth, I've always noticed that when something is out of my reach, something new is better for me.... almost like I'm being lead to where I should be..... not where I want to be. It's worked for me, and I've been very happy.

You should have heard Larry King Live, and the Positive thinking group he had on I think it was on Wed. Simply excellent, and very inspiring. There are no limits in dreams, and they will come true if you work on it. Or anything else, prosperity, health and so on. Try Positive thinking and do not be so negative.

Now there's an optimistic attitude! They do for some who work hard and try to make them come true. We have to keep our dreams realistic, then they have a better chance of coming true.

Dreams are sometimes just that. You miss the joys of life wishing for something else. An old Mickey Gilly song said," I overlooked an orchid while searching for a rose". It's okay to dream, just don't let it pollute your life of other just as important things.

Are you trying to make your dreams come true?. Seldom does opportunity just drop in your lap. Are you doing everything you can to reach a goal? Pick something realistic and go for it.

I guess my answer is no, since i want to tell you that I believe dreams can come true, one just has to work to acheive them. Things don't normally get handed to people on a silver platter...unless of course you are paris hilton, or another spoiled child of a rich person.

My great grandma was from Ireland...she would say "if you dream it Lass it will never come true." Facing facts or family lore...Dream your dreams come what may

My dreams always comes true. I always have attainable dreams. Those that seem a little far fetched.....eventually get molded into something I can live with.
