I had an abortion a couple of years ago. Since then I don't get excited(wet) like I used to. I was in a horrible relationship and I was hoping that once I left him I would be able to again. Is this curable or can I do anything to help it. I am a sexual person and I don't want this affecting my love life.

This will affect your love life. You do not get wet because you are still not over the abortion. Although you feel fine, like sex etc., mentally you are not healed. The best way to "cure" this problem is to sit down with a professional and discuss your feelings concerning the abortion when it occured as well as how you feel about it now. Eventually you will be able to have a regular sex life but for the time being don't be so concerned with sex, instead focus on your mental wellbeing.

You r problem appears to be psychological, which is normal for someone who has been through what you have. You now harbor a secret fear of getting pregnant again and your body is responding likewise. Only time, (and/or counseling), will speed up the recovery time... potentially?!

Mostly due psychological causes, as fear of getting pregnant or you’re afraid of a STD. As you said “you don’t get exited” and so you don’t lubricate as well, It’ll be a physical cause if you tell me “I’m exited but I don’t get wet”, but you’re saying clearly “I’m not exited” a psychological fear must be investigated.
