Taking Lives I would give a 4. It doesn't actually show much blood although it has much violence. When blood is shown, there's not a lot of gore.
If you're talking about K.B. Vol 1? 9. It's right up there with Nightmare on Elm street, Saving Private Ryan, or Scarface if you're talkin about gore.

Wouldn't describe either one as "gory" exactly. Taking Lives was not that good but Kill Bill is definitely worth seeing - great movie! Originally I didn't have a big interest in seeing it, but I'm glad I did. Kill Bill as a movie would rate an 8 or 9.

Taking lives would have to be a 3, I really did not like this particular movie. It is more boring than gory to me. Based on the fact that there is alot of blood in Kill Bill, I would have to give this movie a 7. I think Kill Bill is more worth watching than Taking Lives. The fight scenes are incredible!! If you like action movies, this is the movie to watch over and over.

Taking Lives, has its bad moments especially towards the end. But it is nothing horrible So I would say a 5. Kill Bill, I don't think was all that bad so I said a 4. But that's just me I personally would prefer Taking Lives over Kill Bill any Day.
Funny Ethan Hawk and Uma Thurman were married, and they are in the movies you are comparing. Sorry I am tired my sense of humor is wired

I have not seen either of them. My sister though has seen Kill Bill. She has a very strong stomach, likes horror movies, etc, and she said she peeked through her fingers the entire time because it was so incredibly gory even for her. But that the storyline itself was very good once you got past the gore.

Kill Bill is fabulous- lots of blood and violence, but it's a cartoonish kind of violence, so I wouldnt necessarily call it "gory" I'd say it's about a 5.

Well it's a movie, for starters. Also, it's not impossible to live through a gunshot to the head. In fact, I knew a guy who lived across the street from me that was shot in the head. He was partially paralyzed on one side of his body and a little slow mentally but alive none the less.
