someone help..i want to buy an ipod, i dont like the ipod shuffle, but i want to know how it works..thanks

Well, remember its name. the ipod SHUFFLE, so it is supposed to be a workout player, or just for minimal usage (hallways in school, walking, buss rides etc.) IT is very handy because you just add some good workout songs, and it randomly plays them while you run or ride. The screen is also 1 less thing to break/crack and stress about.
I agree it is a little frustrating when you want to show a friend a song and he/she sits there as you try to find it without a screen. But the shuffle is a very inexpensive mp3 player designed for minimal usage. Highly recommended for athletes, highschoolers, downtown city living.

the iPod shuffle doesnt have a screen and i know thats stupid. but thats y they r so cheap. the shuffle is supposed to be just a random selection of songs so i guess you dont have to worry about looking for them if u r driving or something. of if u r jogging.

You don't know what song it's playing. It plays them at random. That's why it's called a Shuffle. I'd spend the extra cash and get a Nano or Video depending on how much space you need.

the shuffle doesn't have a screen because it shuffles the songs and plays them in random orders everytime
so you would probably have to memorize like all your songs

they call it the shuffle because it shuffles through your songs, thats why they call it the shuffle. The songs ae in random order so it doesn't need a screen

It's meant to be a surprise until u figure out what song it is. I have one, and it also has a mode where they all play in the order it is in iTunes. I think they are the cheapest, just $99, but it depends what u need it for. If you would like to have a display screen u can get a different one.

you dont. the ipod plays a random song it has stored on it, and if you dont like the one it plays for u, u can either skip the song or invest into an ipod thats worth a dime

you dont thats y u just put ur favorite songs on them b/c they are made for sports or like snowboarding so u dont have to hang on to them
