I have a friend who has been seeing a married man and the wife got suspicious and hired a private investigator and the wife now has proof (pictures). Is there ANY way that the man can get out of the marriage without her taking everything he has?

Usually during the divorce a communal property is divided by half. Most property that is acquired during marriage is considered marital or community property. For example, wages earned by the husband and wife during marriage generally are considered marital property. If one or both spouses buy a house or establish a business during the marriage, that usually will be marital property, particularly if the house or business is purchased with the husband's and wife's earnings.
Separate property is property that each spouse owned before the marriage. Separate property also includes inheritances and gifts (except perhaps gifts between spouses) acquired during marriage. During and after the marriage, each spouse may keep control of his or her separate property. Each spouse may buy, sell, and borrow money on his or her separate property. Income earned from separate property, such as interest, dividends, or rent generally are classified separate property. However, in some states that recognize community property, these profits may become marital property.
The problem will arise if the victim spouse will ask for the alimony (spousal support). Courts are more incline to grant it for the spouse who is victim.

Depends on if she is a vindictive b**** or not. There was something wrong in the marriage for him to be looking elsewhere, but he should have ended that relationship before starting another. He will probably lose half and it will be ugly if she wants to make it that way. Personally I think how someone treats an X in indicative of what kind of person they are. Any women (or man) who takes their spouse to the cleaners just because they can has shown to me that they had a hand in creating their own mess.

Most likely not, he should have thought about that before he felt he needed to go to someone else, instead of being faithful to his wife. Obviously your friend sure didn't know how to be faithful to the woman he married and keep his wedding vows. Honestly if she divorces him, he deserves NOTHING!!

It depends on what state he lives in. If it is a "no fault" state then pictures and whatever don't mean a thing.

Your friend has really hooked up with a winner though. . .

Nope, he just needs to walk out the front door and walk on to the freeway (and laydown in rush hour traffic).

it all depends what state he lives in, some states can go 50/50 and that's that...
just hope that's the way it is..

have her picked up for cocaine usage......plant it on her and in her car, then make a anonymous phone call about her dealing heroin and cocaine....
in most states heroin carries a mandatory jail time
so go a planting and get to is...

good luck to you all
