Team work will over rule individual skills. So what if u have individual skills but u does not have team work? If 3 or more players are tackling ur ball, there's no way u can over come them. Without team work, u wont break opponents defence by passing the ball ard and confusing the oppo. Team work is definitely impt.

The reason why Spain/Barcelona are enjoy success is because they have Xavi, not the other way around, he's heart and the brain of his teams, without him, they wouldn't be the teams they are today. and Xavi was dominating Milan ( best team at that time ) and Madrid before Guardiola came so stop making him an average player, I highly doubt you were watching football at that time. Xabi Alonso ? Stop disrespecting Xavi by comparing him with that slow, one dimensional player, Xabi Alonso neither can attack ( he's the slowest player on earth ) nor can defend ( he himself said tackling is not a quality lol ), plus he becomes liability when pressurized, he's not composed on the ball, thats the main reason why he's so horrible whenever he plays against Barcelona. Xabi Alonso needs time and space to be effective, Complete player my @rse...... Xavi thrives when he's under pressure, he never loses the ball, as i said stop disrespecting Xavi. Xavi has always been one of the top midfielders in the world prior to Guardiola's arrival but since then, he has reached a level which no midfielder has ever been, no one has ever dominated an opponent in every single game prior to Xavi.... He's the greatest no doubt. Edit: @Iker.... more attributes ? such as.. ? would you like to elaborate ? Xabi's only quality is his ability to pass from one half to the other and he's very good at it ( there's no proof to say Xavi can't do the same passes but he never needs it ).... but what are those attributes you talk about.. ? I can't think of any other thing which Xabi is good at.

team work because without it your team will lose most of its games. individual skills will on only help you when your 1 on 1 with a defender or striker. Also your not gonig to make goals all by your self you need a whole team to do that.

Team work. You can be the best player in the world ever, but if your team passes haphazardly and don't pass you the ball properly and concede goals due to lousy defending then your skills are useless.

individual skills: if each person in the team has good skillls, team work is created. you see? good skills can improve teamwork a lot.if ronaldinho was in a combined team with c ronaldo and rooney, think of the possibilities: rooney is the scorer of the team, c ronaldo is the fast one, and ronaldinho is the one who makes the other team look worser than they are.

Individual skills can go far (ronaldinho) but then, if your closed down, what do you do? You have to have people working with you to break down the defence and pose a threat. If the defence know that one person will take them on.They will close him down.

Teamwork is more important. Without your team, your spectacular skills go to waste.

Team work. If one player is good it doesn't mean the team will win. For example, if you put Payton Mannin on the worst High School team, they probabily still won't go very far because even though Manning is good, without good linemen to create him a good pocket and good recivers to catch his throws, he is useless.
