they were from britain/england i forget. but they were going to escape from the war, they tried to move the children to protect them

Even Ralph and Piggy, swept away via the buzz, dance on the fringes of the team. the lads returned reenact the looking of the pig and attain a extreme pitch of frenzied ability as they chant and dance. abruptly, the lads see a shadowy parent creep out of the woodland—that's Simon. of their wild state, even with the indisputable fact that, the lads do no longer understand him. Shouting that he's the beast, the lads descend upon Simon and start to tear him aside with their bare hands and tooth. Simon tries desperately to describe what has handed off and to remind them of who he's, yet he journeys and plunges over the rocks onto the sea coast. the lads fall on him violently and kill him."

They were from World War 2 (not sure whether 1 or 2) Britain.... it wasn't stated where they were being evacuated to, though.

it doesn't state exactly where they are going...only that they are being exacuated. also, the only relation to where they are from is england.
