You have to sand and refinish it. Put polyurethane on it when its done. There are stain removers or strippers if the table is in good shape.

You should carefully sand the table making sure not to sand through the veneer (i'm assuming it's veneer as it is very rare to come across solid teak these days, it is now a protected species). Refinish it with a few coats of teak oil (similar to linseed), you can get it from b&q. Apply with a lint free rag, gently sanding between coats. nothing less than 240 grit. For an amazing glasslike finish try wetsanding which is sanding the surface with a fine abrasive and plenty of oil. The fine dust and oil mix to form a paste. finish by working the paste into the grain with a dry cloth. Then buff it up with a dry cloth.

it's hard to stain a real teak piece of wood, the natural oils discourage it, if it is stained and not covered with something like varnish you should be able to use steel wool to rub out the area then re-treat the spot with oil or polish.

Try "ringaway". I have never used it on teak but it has performed near miracles on highly polished tables, removing heat marks caused by hot plates/dishes etc.
