first of all, the beeping is the laptop's way of telling you precisely what's inaccurate with it. Pull out your proprietor's guide, look up the submit beep codes, and then turn on your gadget. Secondly, you likely are adverse it extra each and each and every time you turn it on. give up rebooting purely for the sake of rebooting. Thirdly, you'll likely ought to change a ingredient(s) of your computer, because the beep in the course of the submit potential there's a issue on the hardware aspect, in a good number of cases failure. I doubt you've a virus of kinds, because the beeps are formerly the OS bootloader is accessed. contact your manufacturers customer service, and observe in the journey that they could help you out. My funds is on a hardware failure. not uncommon in laptops, seeing as they take far worse of a beating than do computers. **EDIT** After interpreting your question a second time, i'm 100% particular you do not have a virus. Viruses can't administration each and every thing on your laptop. they could purely artwork at an software aspect, or at best, a device aspect. this remains above the BIOS firmware, and the hardware aspect. each and every issue you've defined looks at a hardware aspect. The beeps you're describing are a huge beacon to this. I promise. purely bust out the vendors guide and look up which beeps are sounding, and tell the producer what's up. you may finally end up having to change the computer.

You mean ur keyboard is missing the L key? In that case u can still type the word using a pen to push in the nuzzle where the key used to be or something of that nature (I can't give precise details because I don't know which model u own). Also you can order that specifc key from several stores and vendors on www.ebay.com

Even if there is a missing key there should be a little touch sensitive area in the missing space. Try poking around there and see if anything is typed!

Although I personally would push the L key harder to get it to work, my suggestion is to copy-paste an L from a page containing it, and placing it into your password box.
